Energy Management and Canadian Lawyer Associates magazines, two recent additions to the CLB Media Inc. stable, were both shuttered by the Aurora, Ont.-based b-to-b publishing company last week. No word yet on whether any layoffs were associated with the closures.

 

Energy Management, a mini-tabloid launched in December 2007 that showcased energy-efficient products and technologies to business and government executives, is expected to maintain an online presence, similar to the one CLB is employing with Green Business magazine, which was also recently suspended. 

Canadian Lawyer Associates, a magazine launched in February 2008 aimed at young lawyers spun out of CLB’s substantial law group, was shuttered due to a lack of advertising support, according to a letter sent to current and recent advertisers.

CLB ceased publication of Advanced Manufacturing, Green Business, Network Cabling and Workplace in January.
