The ongoing development of MastheadOnline continues today with the debut of Dream Job TK, a blog written by Corinna vanGerwen, who is a senior editor at Style at Home and the Toronto Chapter Host of Ed2010. Dream Job TK offers career advice for magazine professionals, with emphasis, as Corinna puts it, on “how to be damn good at your job.”

Corinna has actually been writing Dream Job TK using Blogger for over a year now and she will continue to post there. What’s new is that her items will now be syndicated on MastheadOnline. We’ve posted the five most recent pieces to kick things off today, but on average, Corinna says to expect about three new posts a week.

The idea of syndicating existing blogs might be worth considering for your own publication website. When I discovered Corinna’s site a couple of months ago, I immediately thought it would be a great fit for MastheadOnline. I fired off an e-mail to gauge her interest, taking care to note the advantages for both of us: “Benefit for you: more exposure. Benefit for us: additional content that's useful to our audience.” Corinna wrote back quickly, happy to take the opportunity to reach a larger audience.
