WordSmith Media Inc., a provider of marketing and communications support and contract publishing services, has secured a multi-year agreement to publish Private Motor Carrier. Private Motor Carrier is the official magazine of the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC).

“We are confident this agreement will protect the high quality of editorial that our magazine’s readers have come to enjoy, meet the unique information needs of Canada’s private fleets, and ensure that industry suppliers continue to enjoy a choice in the Canadian marketplace,” Mike Millian, president of the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada said.

John G. Smith, the president of WordSmith Media and former editor of the magazine, has now been named its publisher and editor-in-chief.

“WordSmith Media Inc. is thrilled to have the opportunity to publish the leading magazine for Canada’s private fleets,” Smith said, promising further enhancements to Private Motor Carrier magazine in the months to come. “As our motto says, we are committed to delivering words that work.”
