Up Here Publishing combines its publications
Up Here Publishing Ltd. has decided to merge Up Here and Up Here Business into one magazine. Starting January 2015, readers can expect in-depth coverage on lifestyle, travel, business, politics, and all facets of northern life including science, history, mythology and sports—in the revamped Up Here magazine.
The publication's readers inspired the change. Up Here subscribers often requested more political and business content, while Up Here Business readers would request lifestyle and history content.
“Up Here Business was launched seven years ago as a merger of our Far North Oil and Gas and Canadian Diamonds magazines, and grew to be something far greater: a trusted, award-winning resource on everything business in Canada’s North,” publisher Marion LaVigne said. “An expanded Up Here is the natural progression—it will be the trusted, award-winning resource on everything in Canada’s North.”
