Postmedia to end flyer distribution business

Following “a comprehensive review of its flyer distribution operations across Canada,” Postmedia Network, a Canadian news media company representing more than 110 brands, has made the strategic decision to exit the flyer distribution business. Operations will end on a phased basis starting June 8, 2026, and should be completed in full by August 31. The decision will impact about 50 full-time and 200 part-time workers.
Postmedia said it’s engaging clients and partners to ensure a smooth transition and is focused on working together “in ways that better reflect changing consumer habits and deliver meaningful value. This decision will allow Postmedia to keep pace with industry changes and respond to consumer preferences. Postmedia’s journalism, brands, businesses, and people, continue to touch communities, support local businesses, and contribute to public conversation across the country.”
