Postmedia revenue up in third quarter

Postmedia reported revenue of $120.6 million for the third quarter ended May 31, compared to $111.7 in the same period last year. The results include the acquisition of BNI, the parcel delivery service it purchased from J.D. Irving.

Without the BNI purchase, revenue for the quarter was $109.2 million, down$2.5 million from last year. The decline was primarily due to lower print circulation revenue of$4.5 million and print advertising revenue of $1.6 million.

An increase in digital revenue partly of $2.5 million partly offset the print-related losses.
