NMA finalists announced

The 2021 National Magazine Awards nominees have been announced. The National Media Awards Foundation says it received submissions from 160 publications across Canada, or more than 1,000 entries.

More than 110 volunteers whittled the list down to 210 finalists. On June 11th, the winners will be revealed during a virtual ceremony on Facebook hosted by Sandra E. Martin. Gold winners in writing and visual categories will receive a $1000 cash prize.

To help bring this year’s celebration to the industry across the country, the Foundation is requesting a pay-what-you-can donation (we suggest $25) in lieu of ticket costs. The full list of nominees is available on the NMA website, but here are the top nominees by title.
