New editor at National Observer
 
 
Karyn Pugliese is the new editor in chief at Canada’s National Observer. Linda Solomon Wood takes over the publishing reins.

            According to the CNO website, Pugliese full further the title’s mission of reporting on the changing climate in Canada and globally. She will develop CNO’s reporting and podcasting teams and lead daily publication and newsletters.

            Pugliese began her career as a parliamentary reporter with the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, and later became managing editor of investigations at CBC. She joined CNO in 2021 as a columnist and executive editor.

            Solomon Wood was editor in chief of CNO for 15 years before passing the mantle. She began her career as an investigative reporter and received more than 50 awards during her time at CNO editor.
