Magazines Cuts for COVID-19
Staff cuts and reduced hours
Magazine publishers have had to make difficult decisions as the COVID-19  forces businesses to close and cancel advertising . Canada Wide Media publishes of Western Living Magazine,Real Weddings,BC Living , BC Business and Vancouver Magazine has laid off 30 per cent of their staff. The remaining staff are taking a cut in pay and hours.  The Vancouver Courier has announced the publication has been suspended until

further notice. The Magazine Association of B.C. estimates publications in B.C. could lose up to $10 million in revenue in the next  six months. Many publications have made cuts or  completly suspended operation altogether.
