Columnist Anne Crossman and her book
Anne M. Crossman, a columnist with Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley Register, recently released Anne Crossman’s Commonplace Book, a paperback containing some of the columns she’s written during the past five years, noting the interaction with the public is what she enjoys most. She previously worked for newspapers in Halifax, Bridgewater and Yellowknife, and CBC Radio in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
In recent weeks she’s been visiting areas across the Annapolis Valley promoting her book. Annapolis Royal Mayor Amery Boyer said reading it brought back memories. “Her observations of politics range from thoughtful to downright entertaining as she explores the human condition. From the Great North to Luxembourg, Anne’s book comes to life through a series of lived experiences from the perspective of someone who has travelled to, and lived in, many places.”
