The senior vice president of global news, the editor and executive editor of a tech vertical, and the senior director of global news have all headed out the door.

            They follow dozens of staff that were laid off during the year prior to the sale, for a reported US$350 million to Fortress Investment Group, Soros Fund Management and Monroe Capital.

            No word yet as to the future plans for the media company.
