Aid to Publishers is part of the Canada Periodical Fund (CPF) which provides eligible Canadian publishers of printed magazines, printed community newspapers, and digital periodicals, with financial support to produce and distribute Canadian editorial content. For printed community newspapers, funding is based on the total number of eligible copies distributed over a 12-month period, as well as eligible editorial expenditures during that time.
