Chirp magazine has developed a TV show with Kids’ CBC based on its namesake. Chirp will air at 7:15 am every Friday until April 20, when it will be aired five days a week. A series of books based on the show, and an app will also be launched later this spring.

Readers of the French-language publication Pomme d'Api, will be able to watch the new show in the Fall on SRC.

“It's been really exciting for our team to work on this—more than three years of work, in fact! We're absolutely thrilled with how it turned out and hope it will boost our Chirp subscriptions and readership in Canada,” group publisher Jennifer Canham said. “We'll also be developing the brand internationally as we start to distribute the show, apps, magazines and books around the world. Then, of course, there's merchandise – Chirp red rubber boots for everyone!”
