Apple's new subscription service includes brings  over 300 American and Canadian magazines, newspapers and digital publishers  within the Apple News® app. Available in the US and Canada, Apple News+ subscribers can access current and past issues and individual articles from Canadian publications such as Chatelaine,Maclean's, Cottage Life, Toronto Life, Hockey News, Toronto Star and La Presse.The Apple News Format promises greater interactivity with readers, such as letting them respond to calls to action in digital magazine ads. The tradeoff from the subscription service is clear, publications  appear on Apple News Plus, with distribution on 1.4
 
billion devices, but  the magazines publishers will not  get access to data about their Apple News Plus readers, because Apple doesn't track users, which also means advertisers can't target them.Apple News+ is available in Canada for $12.99 a month.
