HOMES Publishing Group (HPG) celebrated its 30th anniversary in August. The independent publishing, multimedia and marketing company was founded in 1985 and is now home to 11 publications in the home market, consumer, trade, show guides, and member directories industries. Some of these titles include Active life, Reno & Décor, Condo Life, Ontario Design and Renovation Contractor.

HPG also has nine websites including sites for the Chinese and South Asian markets, a mobile app and two trade shows.

Other accomplishments include raising $240,000 for the homeless youth organization Raising the Roof, through its annual charity golf tournament over the past 12 years. They also hold an annual baseball tournament, Builder Baseball, which has donated $70,000 to Habitat for Humanity in the past two years.

HPG president Michael Rosset, the longest serving board member of Raising The Roof, was honoured with the Building Industry and Land Development (BILD) Member of the Year award in 2008 and this year with the Riley Brethour Award for his service in the new home industry.
