Business Innovation applicant guide now available
The 2012-13 applicant's guide for Business Innovation funding is now available.

Business Innovation funding, under the Canada Periodical Fund, is meant to encourage small and mid-sized publishers to "adapt to changing market conditions and contributes to the diversity of content sought by Canadian readers."

The applicant's guide can be found here.

Applications to the Business Innovation for Print Periodicals sub-component are accepted throughout the year, while applications for the Business Innovation for Digital Periodicals sub-component must be received by Jan. 23, 2012.

It is recommended by Canadian Heritage that applications be submitted at least four months prior to a project start date.

Meanwhile, time is running out for applications to the 2012-13 Aid to Publishers grants under the Canada Periodical Fund, being accepted until today, Monday, Dec. 12.
