Annex deal with CLB Media finalized
The Annex Publishing deal to purchase a number of CLB Media publications has been finalized, according to one of the magazines that transferred hands, Electrical Business.
In the article it states the magazine will continue to run on a “go-forward basis,” said Annex president and CEO Michael Fredericks. It also reiterated Frederick's statement to Masthead, saying the publication will stay at its current location in Aurora, Ont. and there are no planned changes in staff.
The CLB Media publications not included in the sale to Annex are being split in various directions. Canadian Lawyer and its affiliated law titles are going to Thomson-Reuters. Discussions are planned for the automotive group to be sold to CLB Media vice president publishing, Niel Hiscox. And Woodworking magazine has been sold to publisher Bert Kleiser.
