Former St. Joseph creative launches condo magazine
Former St. Joseph Media creative Brian Rushton Phillips is set to launch Condominia magazine, an online publication for condo owners this fall.
Published by his company, Communiqis Inc., Condominia will target readers 25 years of age and up, says Rushton Phillips. “The magazine will feature national and international developments,” he says. “We felt through our own research that it is the only publication like it on the market right now.”
Content on an assortment of lifestyle issues will be generated by freelance writers, says Rushton Phillips, who will handle the design of the book. Ads will be either full or double-pages with a CPM of $25 and a full page rate of $4,500 for the fall and winter issues.
Low production costs and the ability to measure advertising use are some of the main reasons behind the choice to launch a digital rather than print title, he says. “You can do things online that you can’t really do in print,” says Rushton Phillips. “It is a better model in my mind. Our content will be available online, on mobile and eventually on the iPad.”
Condominia will be issued quarterly with plans to increase production to bi-monthly by 2011 and monthly in 2012.
