People in Print: Changes at Canadian Immigrant Magazine, Business Information Group
Canadian Immigrant Magazine founder and publisher Nick Noorani has resigned. The magazine, which Noorani started seven years ago out of his home is now owned by TorStar and has moved to a circulation of 82,000 from the 7,000 copies per issue when it started. “The magazine has reached a height I couldn’t dream of when I started out,” he says. “I want to go and do more to help with immigrants to Canada.” No word on who will replace Noorani at the magazine.

Former Masthead intern David Perri has been named production editor for The Northern Miner Magazine at the Business Information Group. Perri is a recent graduate of the Humber College post-graduate journalism program.
