Print edition of Granville magazine suspended
Granville, the magazine on sustainable city living in Vancouver has ceased publication, according to editor David Jordan. The website for the magazine, Granvilleonline.ca is still strong and will continue under the direction of digital editor Hilary Henegar.
The magazine, which was published quarterly by Canada Wide Media Ltd. has been in print for over two and a half years and has plans to resume publication in the fall, according to an announcement on its website.
Jordan says that no jobs were affected in the decision and all print staff have been reassigned to other projects at Canada Wide Media Ltd.
Granville Online picked up two awards at Masthead’s inaugural Canadian Online Publishing Awards last fall for Best Blog and Best Article Series in the Red Division.
