Terry Sellwood elected chair of Magazines Canada

Respected industry veteran Terry Sellwood was elected board chair of Magazines Canada at the association's annual general meeting, held Thursday as part of MagNet. Sellwood, general manager of Quarto Communications—publishers of Cottage Life and Explore— is a Circulation Management Association of Canada (CMC) Marketer of the Year award recipient, a Magazines Canada Volunteer of the Year winner and a past chair of both the CMC and the National Magazine Awards Foundation.

“We need to attract the future generations who will drive the magazine renaissance of the 21st century," Sellwood said. "Magazines Canada will be there to nurture, support, guide, educate, encourage, lobby for and generally stand tall for an industry that plays such a vital role in Canadians’ lives.”
