Those wishing to submit work for consideration in the Western Magazine Awards can do so beginning today and ending Mar. 2. Two new awards—the student writing award and the environmental award—will be handed out at the 2009 ceremony, which will take place on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Renaissance Vancouver Hotel Harbourside at 1133 West Hastings Street in Vancouver.
