Magazines Canada has appointed Rebecca Rosenblum as the new Membership & Communications Manager. She will be developing membership acquisition, onboarding and member management. Rebecca Rosenblum has many years of experience in the publishing world, most recently working with an academic/grassroots journal and a feminist press. She's also worked on publications for everyone from pre-kindergarteners to paleontologists, written several books and many stories and articles of her own,and once had a blog post linked by the New Yorker blog. Rebecca's first magazine subscription was Penny Power, the short-lived children's offshot of Consumer Reports. Magazines Canada  provides it's members with news, professional development and advocacy since 1973. As a member-driven, not-for-profit organization they serve Canadian magazines of all scope and size through ongoing programs and special initiatives. Magazines Canada protects and supports the interests of the Canadian consumer and business media magazine industry, and is a strong voice in all levels of government.
