The Canadian Online Publishing Awards has extended the deadline for this year's entries to Friday, October 9, 2020 at the request of several publishers because of  Covid-19.  The COPAs are entering its 12th year and has become a badge of honour that showcases Canadian digital content.The categories this year includes a COVID -19  News Category, that is free to enter (use promo code free). The cost to enter is $75 with a special discount for small publishers of $50. Entries are reviewed by a prestigious panel of content, creative, digital, web tech, marketing, media, and advertising experts. Over 50% of the judges come from outside of the publishing industry to ensure objectivity. Winners are selected in 15 categories across five divisions and are announced at a lively awards celebration in downtown Toronto, in what has become the digital publishing event of the year. The awards program has gained prestige in the marketplace for the winners.
