Tony Cioffi leaves post as president of Reader's Digest Canada
Masthead has learned that Tony Cioffi, president of Reader's Digest Canada, has left his position to pursue a "new business opportunity".
A statement from Julie McMahon, director of human resources for Reader's Digest Canada, reads, “Reader's Digest Association would like to wish Tony Cioffi the best of luck as he pursues a new business opportunity after 14 years with the company. Tony’s leadership has been instrumental in the growth of Reader's Digest in Canada. We have started an active search for a new leader for Reader's Digest in Canada. The Canadian operations will continue to publish the Canadian edition of Reader’s Digest magazine and our other titles, as well as Books & Home Entertainment products for the Canadian marketplace.”
