Transcontinental vice chair named one of Canada�s Most Powerful Women
Transcontinental Inc. vice chair of the board and vice president, corporate development Isabelle Marcoux has been named one of the 2010 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards recipients, in the Corporate Executives category.
 
Marcoux has been with Transcontinental since 1997, when she started as director, mergers and acquisitions and director, legal affairs and assistant corporate secretary. She became vice president, corporate development in 2004 and has been vice chair of the board since 2007.
 
Transcontinental Inc. is the largest printer in Canada and publishes magazine titles including Elle Canada and The Hockey News.
 
Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Awards is produced by the Women’s Executive Network. Recipients in the category of Corporate Executive are chosen based on management role, vision and leadership, corporate performance and community service.
