CDS Global, fulfillment and circulation service specialists, have decided to move their annual Strategic Partner Seminar online in response to client feedback. The seminar is normally held at the company’s headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, but after hearing from several clients that they wouldn’t be able to travel to the event this year, CDS Global decided to try a Web format instead.
The Canada-only version of the annual seminar, normally held at the Old Mill Inn in Toronto, is still scheduled for next spring.
The online seminar will take place on Sept. 14, and CDS clients will be sent a link to the website. On the site, a series of brief videos hosted by CDS Global employees from the U.S., the U.K., and Canada will inform clients about the comapny's latest developments.
“Our reason for this move was to be sensitive to the economic environment faced by all organizations at this time,” says Jillian Gartner, marketing specialist at CDS Global. “This allows us to host it in a more innovative format, allowing us to communicate our developments from the past year.”
After the Strategic Partner Seminar, the company plans to contact its clients to find out if their questions were answered and get feedback on the new format.
