Two new appointments at Zoomer
Zoomer magazine has appointed Lori Fitzgerald as its publisher.

"Lori has worked tirelessly to create a focused, dynamic culture in the print and digital sales teams and has, for the past number of months, shared co-publisher duties with yours truly," chief audience officer Laas Turnbull said in an announcement.
"During that time, she’s been quick to grasp all the key functions that form a publisher’s remit—circulation, distribution, marketing, budgeting, and business planning, to name a few. The magazine is poised to have a good year financially and I have every reason to believe Lori will deliver."

Ariel Frieman has been brought in on contract to support Zoomer’s integrated sales effort.

"Given some of the tweaking and refining we’ve done over the past 10 months, we’re now in an excellent position to drive this part of our business," Turnbull continued. "My hope is that Ariel’s expertise in creating marketing solutions for clients will allow us to compete for dollars that have historically been out of our reach. She and I will work with a number of people across the company to develop additional idea-driven, multi-platform campaigns that tap into the emerging trend of content marketing. Given our profusion of brands and platforms, we have a real shot at being leaders in this space."
