Magazines Canada asks industry to team up for new campaign
Magazines Canada is reaching out to the magazine industry to fund its next multi-platform campaign. With no available funding, Magazines Canada is hoping publishers, retailers, distributors and wholesalers will pitch in to create a campaign that provides tangible results for Canadian magazines at retail.

Magazines Canada aims to:
  • Feature at least 120 participating magazine titles
  • Work with 185 retail outlets and 2 major retail chains to promote the campaign
  • Retailers to generate a 3% increase in sales over the previous year
  • Make 8 million impressions through PR/advertising, social media & in-store promos
  • Obtain 80,000 online video views and 15,000 store locator clicks on
  • Add 15 new retailers to the MC distribution roster
