enRoute has a new editor-in-chief

Weitzman has been with the magazine since Septemeber 2005.
“Air Canada’s content channels have grown in scope and reach over the past year, and I’m delighted Ilana will now be overseeing the entire Air Canada Media content ecosystem,” executive vice president of content at Spafax, Nino Di Cara, said. “We know that Ilana’s new role will allow for us to continue innovating and providing best-in-class content programs for Air Canada.”
Légaré will oversee enRoute magazine, sister publications enRoute Edition, the enRoute Inflight entertainment guide, the brands digital platforms and events and award programs.

The new editor has ten years of multiplatform journalism experience. He has served as editor-in-chief at Clin d’oeil, and first joined with Spafax in 2007 working for enRoute and other Spafax luxury publications. He has won various awards for editing and writing, including gold at the 2010 North American Travel Journalists Association Awards (NATJA), honourabe mentions at the 2011 NMAs and two P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards.
Air Canada and Spafax have also announced that Christopher diRaddo will take on the role of editor for Altitude Media. diRaddo comes to the company from CBC Radio, where he worked for six years as content editor for Canada Writes.
