Emerge Magazine wins National Pacemaker Award
 
University of Guelph-Humber’s Emerge Magazine has won the National Pacemaker Award for Outstanding Print Magazine.

Created by the university’s Media Studies students, the magazine features articles on topics that are most important to them and operates under the mandate of “Technology. Culture. Revolution.”
The National Pacemaker Awards have been distribute since 1927, by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) in the U.S., and were created to recognize student achievement in the field.

Emerge Magazine has won over 30 other prizes throughout its history. This year, the publication won first and third place Pinnacle Awards for Best Multimedia Campaign and Best Social Media strategy respectively.
