CTV's Rick Brace joins Rogers Media

Former CTV president Rick Brace, has been appointed president of the media business unit at Rogers Communications, effective August 10, 2015.

Brace will replace Keith Pelley, who announced his resignation in April.

"This is an opportunity I just couldn't pass up," Brace said. "When you look at the mix of assets, the Rogers 3.0 plan and the digital disruption that's transforming the media industry, this is a tremendous opportunity. Keith has done a terrific job repositioning the media business so now it's my job to use the assets we have and work with the senior team to bring Canadians the content they want, where they want."

Brace has over 35 years of experience in the sports and media industry, including positions at CBC and TSN. In his new position he will be responsible for leading the company’s $1.8 billion media business, and overseeing the company’s portfolio of assets including its broadcast business and publishing brands.
