Cottage Life garnered several top prizes at the 2013 Editors' Choice Awards. The mag was named Magazine of the Year (medium circulation) and also won Best Display.

As well, editor Penny Caldwell, who has been at the helm of Cottage Life since 2000, scored her third Editor of the Year Award following previous wins in 2006 and 2010.


TC Media had a good night with Canadian Living taking Magazine of the Year (large circulation) and Best Website Editorial (more than 150,000 UVs), and also earning an honourable mention for Best Blog. Meanwhile, sister publication Fresh Juice won Best Website Editorial (less than 150,000 UVs).

The award for Custom Magazine of the Year went to Air Canada's enRoute, while Magazine of the Year (small circulation) went to Up Here, which also won for Best Front of Book.

The 2013 Editors' Choice Awards, organized by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors, were presented June 5 at a gala dinner held during the national MagNet magazine conference in Toronto.
