Chatelaine leads in top circ: AAM
Chatelaine is still the No. 1 Canadian consumer magazine according to the latest Alliance for Audited Media (AAM) data. The Rogers Media title reported a circ of 523,942.
The order of the top publications reveals little change from the same six-month period ending Dec. 31 last year, with Canadian Living following in second place and Reader's Digest (Canadian English edition) completing the top three.
Reader's Digest, while steady in the rankings, sees its total paid and verified circulation slide 16% from last year. In the last roundup for the corresponding reporting period, it declined 15%. The only Top 10 titles to report circulation increases are TC Media's Canadian Living (1.4%) and Style at Home (2.1%).

In terms of single-copy sales, figures for Canadian Living fell 16% but the title still comes in at No. 1. Chatelaine follows with sales of 91,180. Canadian House & Home comes in third, reporting an 8.6% decline, flatlining the 8% gain it reported last year. Sales are down overall but TVA Publications' TV Hebdo (TV Weekly) posted a 16% gain.

AAM also compiled a list of the top 10 Canadian magazines with digital replicas. Numbers are nearly tripled from the corresponding period last year, says AAM.
