CAA Magazine gets refurbished for Fall
CAA Magazine revealed a revved-up look for the Fall 2013 issue. The logo and design updates are matched with new departments and more automotive and travel content.
The new Agenda section covers travel, lifestyle and people. In the Driven department, readers will find automotive news, expertise and tips. CAA Insider focuses on CAA member benefits and news, and each issue closes with Snap Shot, a travel photograph snapped by a reader.
Given that the mag is a custom title targeting CAA members in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, the changes had to keep in mind the publication's specific goals. "The refreshed design with enriched content helps reinforce the many benefits of CAA membership and showcases what our members of all ages have to expect from us - personal, reliable, and innovative services," said Rhonda English of CAA South Central Ontario, in a release.
The Fall issue features a cover story on the future of in-car tech, a travel piece on Costa Rica, an article on Spain's paradores castle-housed hotels by Canadian author Noah Richler, a look at the 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid, and more. The edition was mailed to members this week and is available online at caamagazine.ca.
CAA Magazine is published quarterly by Totem, a division of TC Media, in partnership with four Canadian Automobile Association clubs: CAA South Central Ontario, CAA North & East Ontario, CAA Niagara and CAA Atlantic.

In other words, it remains a sales brochure.
As for a 'new look', perhaps I'm missing something, but other than the picture on the cover, it looks pretty much as boring as before the change.
