Broadview wins top awards for faith-based publishing

Broadview magazine and Broadview.org won three top honours from two faith-based journalism associations.

In early April the Canadian Christian Communicators Association gave Broadview two awards: General Excellence in Print – Magazine  and General Excellence in Website Design The Associated Chuch Press, a North America-wide association for mainline Christian journalism, gave Broadview Best in Class: National/International Magazine.

The judges for this category wrote: “Broadview is well balanced between news and feature, opinion and art, and light topics and heavy…. As an overall magazine, Broadview serves readers best and most.”

“We are so pleased and honoured to receive this recognition from both the CCCA and the ACP,” says Broadview’s editor-publisher, Jocelyn Bell. “When our 192-year-old publication was rebranded Broadview two years ago, we set a lofty goal to become the best faith-based magazine in North America. These awards encourage us in our efforts.”
