No more fur editorial or advertising in the pages of ELLE

with our values,” and wanted to “take a stance on the critical issues of protecting and caring for the environment.” With this decision, ELLE International becomes the first international magazine to make a statement like this. It’s an important step, and one that increases awareness of the environment and animal welfare. It also supports the demand for sustainable and ethical alternatives in the fashion industry. Already applied in 13 editions of ELLE, from January 1, 2022, this charter will apply to another 20 of them. For the remaining editions, readers will have to wait until 2023 to see them align themselves in this commitment.
