Say Hello! to the new iPad edition of Hello! Canada
Consumers can now say hello to the iPad edition of HELLO! Canada magazine.
The weekly tablet edition promises "behind-the-scene videos, exclusive photo galleries and special royal reports" along with material from the print magazine from Rogers Publishing.
The content is "beautifully rendered for iPad" and readers have the ability to save articles and share them via Facebook, Twitter and e-mail, noted Rogers.
The HELLO! Canada app is free from the App Store, with the first two issues available for a special price of 99 cents while each subsequent downloadable issue is priced at $3.99. Print subscribers receive iPad editions free with their subscription [listed at $1.99 per issue for one year/53 issues].
Ads in the iPad edition, as per the Hello! app rates in the media kit, are $2,570 for a static ad, and $3,325 for an interactive ad [not including production and interactive development costs for the latter]. Those rates decrease depending on frequency.
Meanwhile, Marketing magazine, another Rogers title, is hoping to offer its first iPad edition this month.
