Marketing Magazine aims to launch iPad edition this month
Marketing magazine is aiming to start marketing its iPad edition later this month.
The goal is to have the first iPad edition available in March in time for the April print issue, which is out March 26, said Marketing editor-in-chief Tom Gierasimczuk.
The app was developed in-house, and will be iPad only for now, he said. The iPad subscription is included with the print subscription at $67 for 18 issues (the iPad version will also apparently be available on its own, but pricing info is not yet available).
Marketing mag is also available through digital newsstand Zinio for $65.99 for 18 issues, viewable on a wide variety of mobile devices.
Gierasimczuk said of the iPad edition, "Initially we're going to have video, we're going to have galleries, and I'm hoping a video editor's letter," he said, noting it will include video from the recent Young Influencers Conference organized by Marketing.
The iPad edition's exclusive sponsor for the first three months is Metro newspaper, said Gierasimczuk.
Meanwhile, Marketing has a strong electronic presence, with almost 45,000 followers of its Twitter account.
