Nominations sought for Newsstand Marketer of the Year
Do you know a Newsstand Hero? A Single-Copy Superstar?

The Canadian Newsstand Awards is looking for nominations for the Newsstand Marketer of the Year, an important part of the annual awards program.

The Newsstand Marketer of the Year will be an individual who has demonstrated passion and innovation—and produced results—for a newsstand project in 2010. The work may be for regular duties performed beyond the call of duty, or for a special project, or for any special initiative.

This magazine MVP may work for a Canadian publishing house, a national distributor, or a wholesaler.

There is no entry fee. Nominations should include the name of the nominee, his or her job title and employer, and a brief explanation as to why the nominee is deserving. All nominations are confidential. Nominators are asked to include their own name and contact numbers.

This year’s Newsstand Marketer of the Year will be announced at a special reception in Toronto in late September 2011, as part of the Canadian Newsstand Awards, produced by Masthead in partnership with the CMC Circulation Management Association of Canada, Audit Bureau of Circulations, and LS Travel Retail.

Nominations should be sent in confidence to Masthead publisher Doug Bennet at dbennet@masthead.ca.
