New B.C.-based magazine focuses on Netherlands and its people
A new magazine launching simultaneously in Canada and U.S. this month is about the Netherlands and the Dutch "at home and abroad".
Simply named Dutch magazine, the publication will be launched on Aug. 22, said publishing editor Tom Bijvoet. The first issue from Mokeham Publishing promises stories with cover teasers that read Arriving in the Indies, a 1920s adventure and An angel peed on my tongue... say whaaat?
According to the magazine's website, the domestic one-year subscription price for six issues is $39.50 or $89.50 for overseas readers.
Planned circulation for the first issue is 2,500, and a full-page colour ad is $250 (not including inside covers) for the upcoming issue, noted Bijvoet.
The magazine is based in Penticton, B.C.
