People in Print: Changes at Rogers, Impact and more
Cameron Williamson will assume the role of editor in chief at Glow magazine effective November 30. Williamson has been art director of Chatelaine since 2006. Prior to that he was creative director at Toro magazine, fashion director at The National Post and fashion editor at Saturday Night.

Also at Rogers, Dianne de Fenoyl is assuming responsibilities as editorial director at Chatelaine in addition to her current role of managing editor of Maclean’s. De Fenoyl takes over the role from Lise Ravary who is on leave.

Being promoted to editor in chief at b2b publication Water Canada — The Complete Water Magazine is Kerry Freek. She joined the book in 2007 as managing editor and has been promoted to coincide with the relaunch of the magazine.

year. Winans started at the magazine in 1999 as a copy editor on contract. He became assistant then feature editor and was made editor in 2007. “I have done as much as I can do with the magazine,” he said. “It is time for someone else to come in and grow with the magazine and for me to pursue other career goals.” Joking that his future might be somewhere between sailing the world in a catamaran or auditioning for Cirque du Soleil he says he will be spending time writing a novel that has been neglected for far too long.
