Corcoran gets honourary editor title at FP Magazine
Terence Corcoran
Terence Corcoran
was recently appointed editor of Financial Post Magazine, though day-to-day editorial operations remain in the hands of executive editor Cooper Langford and managing editor Ian Karleff. “Cooper and his staff have their own approach and ideas. I'm not there to change those ideas,” he says. “My column might add a free market point to the page I'm on, but that's not an ideological strategy. I just hope people read the column.”

Following the departure of editor Brian Banks, who took a voluntary buyout and left the magazine in March, National Post editor-in-chief Doug Kelly decided to integrate the magazine more closely with the Financial Post newspaper section.

Corcoran, who has been editor for two issues now, continues to write his column for the magazine and says he provides input on editorial matters “now and then."
