Paul Jones to host 2009 NMAs
On June 5, Paul Jones will face what may be the greatest challenge in his very accomplished and distinguished career: Hosting the 2009 National Magazine Awards gala.

Paul Jones
Jones certainly has an impressive resume. He was an executive and publisher with Maclean Hunter and Rogers for 30 years; has served as director of the National Magazine Awards Foundation; was recognized by both the NMAF and the Advertising Club of Toronto for his lifetime industry achievements; founded the consultancy TK Advisors Inc.; wrote an award-winning column for Masthead; joined the board of Canada's National History Society; chaired the Toronto branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society; and earned accreditation as a professional genealogist.

Question is: Can he keep a room full of boisterous magaziners entertained and engaged through the long awards ceremony? Time will tell.
