Walmart Live Better goes live
Walmart Live Better, a collaboration between Walmart Canada and Rogers Media, launched today across four platforms.

Published six times a year with a circulation of one million copies per issue, the custom content mag is being distributed for free at Walmart Supercentres in English Canada. It will also be available digitally in online, mobile and iPad formats; the website will be updated regularly with exclusive content.

"Canadians want to be inspired by new ideas and stay on budget," said editor-in-chief Sandra Martin, in a release. Content covers food, entertaining, health, beauty and fashion tips. All featured products are available in Walmart Canada Supercentre stores. "Our team of experts provide great ideas on how to make dollars go farther with style," Martin said.

Readers are being encouraged to interact with the brand by following Martin on Twitter, connecting via Live Better's Pinterest, or liking Walmart Canada's general Facebook page.

A one-time full-page ad in the print mag sells for $27,000. For a 25% premium, advertisers can purchase custom-tailored product placement options in showcase features such as "Quick Fix" for kitchen solutions, "Everyday Health" for seasonal health advice, "Try This at Home" for DIY beauty tips, and others. A one-time static ad in the tablet version sells for $5,400.
