Village Living expands to Liberty Village
The Village Living brand is launching a new magazine targeting Toronto's Liberty Village enclave.

The title is the latest addition to Village Living's roster of hyper-local city publications, which includes one for West Village launched in 2012, and another, premiered earlier this year, for Mt. Pleasant. All three are designed by Toronto's K9 Design Co.

"We chose Liberty Village as we felt it was a community still looking for a
voice," said publisher Andrew Fishman. "There seems to be a 'tale of two cities' within LV, the actual residents and the large number of 'commuting residents' who travel to work there," he explained. The magazine will aim to connect residents of the area and surrounding pockets, ages 25 to 40, with nearby businesses to support the value of shopping local.

The bi-monthly mag will cover community happenings, local business and entrepreneurs, food, health, style and pets. It will be mailed free to 14,501 homes, condominiums and businesses. Additional copies will be available for pickup at select area establishments and community centres. A full page ad costs $1650.
