THIS magazine celebrates its social justice all-stars

In honour of its first ever Social Justice All-Stars Issue—celebrating 30 Canadians working towards making the world a better place—THIS magazine is hosting This is Not a Ted Talk on Jan. 28.

Sheila Sampath, Farrah Khan and Nayani Thiyagarajah, three of the 30 all-stars featured in the issue, will be on hand to speak about their social justice work.

The latest edition of THIS showcases Canadians that are fighting for feminism, LGBTQ rights and better mental health services—and fighting against racism, discrimination and harmful stereotypes.

This is Not a Ted Talk will be held at The Supermarket in Toronto at 7:30 pm. The event will cost $5 at the door, and includes a copy of the magazine.
