TC Media launches programmatic ad marketplace
TC Media has opened its Canadian Programmatic Marketplace, an online ad buying service that provides real-time access to digital ad space across more than 650 websites.

The portfolio of partners includes TC Media, Livingly Media, Spin Media and Hockeybuzz, and more than 100 regional newspaper websites in English, French and Atlantic Canada. Specific sites include canadianliving.ca, ellecanada.com, hockeybuzz.com, stylebistro.com, spin.com, motherjones.com, popsugar.com, livestrong.com and coupdepouce.com.

"TC Media recognizes the importance of programmatic buying and has invested heavily in its team, technology, and partnerships," said Patrick Lauzon, senior vice president of interactive marketing solutions, in a company release.

TC Media notes that advertisers will still have access to direct sales and that the marketplace is complementary to its traditional offer. The service launched in March and currently delivers over 1 billion monthly impressions to more than 14 million unique visitors in Canada, according to TC Media.
