magazine released its first standalone Investor's Guide. Overseeing the 2013 special edition was Canadian Business contributing editor Bryan Borzykowski. The guide is 132 pages and sells on newsstands for $7.95.

Walmart Live Better magazine is set to launch in April. Rogers Media Inc. and Walmart Canada announced the collaboration yesterday. 

The consumer lifestyle publication is aimed at mothers and will be available on multiple platforms, including an interactive iPad edition that will provide advertising clients with context-relevant placement options, according to a release.

It will be published six times a year. English Canada Walmart Supercentres will distribute one million copies of each edition for free and the mag aims to launch in French Canada later in 2013. Sandra Martin is editor-in-chief.

Also upcoming is Energy Works Magazine, an interactive magazine app targeting new age lifestyle enthusiasts. It will only be available through iTunes, for iPads and iPad minis. Karyn Klaire Koski is editor.
