Covet Garden campaigns to produce special print edition
Covet Garden, a Toronto-based online decor magazine, has launched a funding campaign on IndieGoGo to produce a special print edition called Covet Garden Home.
Founders Lynda Felton, Jessica Reid and Rhonda Riche are looking to raise $18,000 to help cover the printing and production costs. So far, at the time of this posting, they have raised $3,835. According to Covet Garden's blog, readers have been asking for a printed edition since the mag's launch in September 2010.
The planned special print edition will have about 100 pages and will feature top entries from past issues as well as new content. Covet Garden Home will be printed in Canada in a "half magazine/half book" style.
Campaign donors will receive perks such as a copy of Covet Garden Home for a $30 donation, or for a $50 donation, a copy of Covet Garden Home plus a limited-edition totebag with an original silkscreened image by artist Katy Dockrill.
Covet Garden Home is slated for publication by Winter 2013.

Covet Garden showcases the homes of regular people who have designed unique living spaces without the help of interior decorators. Each edition features a different home. The current issue of the complimentary magazine can be found here.

Special Reports
Also, someone commented that donor "get something..." Yeah, "donors will receive perks such as a copy of Covet Garden Home for a $30 donation, or for a $50 donation, a copy of Covet Garden Home plus a limited-edition totebag..." Are you serious? A limited edition tote bag!?
Ridiculous, and further proof that they've fallen in love with an idea. Period. No sustainable business plan there.
P.S.
Dear Anonymous:" I'm not familiar with the Covet Garden site,": If this is true, then why comment at all.
